Sr. Sales Engineer & Integration Manager / NEW YORK

Are you a passionate Sales/Integration Engineer with deep experience managing pre-sale conversations through working with client’s engineers on best-in-class integrations? Do you have experience in payments and an interest in joining a growing startup impacting international expansion? We are looking for a Sr. Sales Engineer/Integration Manager based in our NYC office. You’ll be responsible for enabling merchants to integrate Splitit as a payment option while building strong relationships with new merchants across North America. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Pre-Sales / Integration Engineering of merchants in support of the Sales and Customer Success team
  • Work with technical products leads to design a solution that optimally utilizes our products and platform
  • Lead complex partner engagements that may involve multiple project teams
  • Assist with technical architecture of solutions to match merchant’s industry standards, use cases, strategy, and technical needs
  • Develop solution proposal & solution design docs that define the overall solution and implementation 
  • Oversee technical project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope
  • Analyze strategic objectives & define tactical goals to achieve them

 

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years in online payments 
  • 5+ years of experience/exposure in the following areas:
    • Web and mobile payment technologies
    • Deep understanding of APIs, REST, Oauth and other related technologies 
    • Deep knowledge of one or more of the following languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, .NET, PHP, Python, C++, Objective-C)
    • Salesforce, Zendesk, G Suite, Postman 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Pre-Sales engineer/integration engineer that supports Biz Dev 
  • You gather requirements & translate them into detailed design documents
  • You’re willing to travel up to 50% if necessary) in support of key projects
