Why can’t I update my card?

You need to have the full outstanding amount available on your new card in order to update to it. This is because we re-authorize your new card with the full outstanding amount to guarantee future payments 

 

You can only update your card 2 times in any 24 hour period. 

Splitit installment plans can only be paid with credit cards ie. Visa, Mastercard, Amex (merchant dependent) and Discover (merchant dependent). We do not accept debit or pre-paid cards.

 

In some cases a debit or pre-paid card can be used to pay off the balance of your plan. To inquire, reach out to [email protected] to discuss with one of our Customer Support Agents.
