Why do I need to pay an extra 1% with Stripe?

Stripe does not support Splitit’s secured strategy, which consists of holding an authorization on the plan’s outstanding amount for 30 days. Stripe can only hold an authorization for up to 7 days.

Therefore we only allow working with Stripe on a Non-Secured Strategy, which does not require the hold, and only in specific cases, with a 1% extra fee on top of the regular pricing.
